Hello, I’m Angela.

I come from a small town near the seaside in western Sicily but I’ve been living for the past 10 years in Rome.

As a child I loved the maps and games that allowed me to explore the world from the floor of my room. Then, as a teenager, I began to participate in study trips abroad to have the opportunity to know and experience myself with new cultures.

I have never stopped since!

I drove throughout the Route 66, had a cooking class in Vietnam, fed kangaroos and wombats in Australia. I climbed on Mexico’s Mayan pyramids, swam in the beautiful Caribbean Sea, camped with a hippie van in southern England and walked on the Great Wall of China. I learned from Tanzanian masaii the motion of the tides and from the Bedouins of Jordan how to ride a camel. I spent a crazy night in Las Vegas, launched myself with a parachute off a plane in California and I let myself be amazed by the grandeur of the Taj Mahal.

Traveling to me has always been a priority and a passion that since several years I share it with Jeff, my life partner and of adventures.

Jeff is a web designer and from our passions we created the blog Think Travel Live because every journey stimulates our minds, reloads our souls and body and allows us to broaden our horizons a bit more.

On this blog we share the stories of our experiences and emotions while we travel, we tell about the culture and cuisine of a place but mostly we offer information and advice on costs, tips and details, hotels, restaurants and means of transport for those wishing to embark on an independent journey.

Cities were always like people, showing their varying personalities to the traveler.

Depending on the city and on the traveler, there might begin a mutual love, or dislike, friendship, or enmity.

Where one city will rise a certain individual to glory, it will destroy another who is not suited to its personality. Only through travel can we know where we belong or not, where we are loved and where we are rejected.
